We the Women_Beacon of Hope

Lady Liberty's welcoming flame is a beacon of hope for so many migrants, immigrants and citizens of America. This painting chronicles two watershed moments in American history -  colorful hand-made masks, made from fabric picked up from African markets, protect the women from the corona virus that raged the earth in 2020. It also commemorates the 100th anniversary of the women's suffrage movement of 1920.  The women are Lily Kak's colleagues from USAID's Bureau of global Health and from UNICEF.

The original painting is for $500. Limited edition giclee prints on fine art photographic paper size of 8x10 inches are available at $50.  Other sizes are also available at various prices and can be discussed with the artist.
